Bradford County Public Library will bring the whole wide world to your library!!

Clifford the Big Red Dog will visit the Library again on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room. Mrs. Pam Shamel from WUFT-TV Channel 5 will lead a variety of activities for preschoolers and children through grade 3 with a parent. Bring your cameras to capture your child with Clifford.


Preschoolers and children are encouraged to read and keep a reading log every day from June 1 through July 18, 2008 to earn "Library Money" to spend at the Book Store Party on Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 10:00 a. m. until 2:00 p.m.

Children who read or have someone read to them every day during this time will earn a color reading certificate. The Library Book Store will feature lots of books and other items. A free reading kit and two free Library Dollars are available at the Children's Reference Desk. Register now for the summer program.


Please help!! Bring any recyle items to the Children's Department now. Please encourage your children to make a bank or container to collect library money.
White plastic gallon milk containers, large cereal boxes, potato chip cans and other recycle items will be used to make a craft on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. for grades 4 through 8.

Please note, regular children's programming is September through April.

Library Hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00-8:00. Wednesday, 8:00-8:00. Friday, 9:00-5:00.
